Play Roulette

Roulette’s origin dates back to 1655 when Blaise Pascal, a French innovator invented the game as a perpetual motion device. In French, the name of the game implies a small wheel.

The different variants of online roulette are:

  • American Roulette
  • European Roulette
  • French Roulette
  • Royale Roulette

Roulette features a wheel and a ball and the game depends on the luck of the player. The roulette wheel consists of numbered slots that are colored black and red alternatively. You wager your bets on the numbered slots of your choice. The ball is dropped into the wheel while it spins. You succeed if the ball lands on the number of your choice.

American Roulette

American Roulette is the most popular version of roulette available online. In the American version the wheel features 38 slots. The slots are numbered from 1 to 36 and there are two zero slots. One is a single zero (0) slot and the other a double zero (00) slot. The probability of winning in American Roulette is lesser than other roulette variants due to the extra double zero slots; the uncertainty of your number coming up on the wheel is raised. The house edge of this game is higher. Generally, the house edge in American version is 5.26%.

European Roulette

European Roulette features 37 slots. Here the slots are numbered from 1 to 36 and there is just one single zero (0) slot. When compared with the American Roulette the probability of winning is higher in this version. Players who play roulette to win real money need to opt for European Roulette. The house edge in the European version is 2.63%.

French Roulette

French roulette is exactly like European roulette except for the difference in the outside bets. In French Roulette consists of two types of outside bets. They are the even-money and dozen bets. In the French Roulette the wheel and the bets are similar to European Roulette.

Progressive Roulette

Royale roulette features a progressive jackpot. If a certian number is hit five times consecutively you win a progressive jackpot in the Royale Roulette.
